The Spider-Man 3 movie, which will be released later this year, will be named ‘No Way Home’. The announced name seems to refer to the theme of the multiverse expected in the movie.
Sony’s new Spider-Man series returns to the big screen this year with its third movie. The official name of Spider-Man 3, which Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting, was finally announced today. The new movie will be released under the name Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Sony continues to maintain the ‘Home’ theme in the new Spider-Man movie. As you know, the first two films of the series were released as Homecoming and Far From Home.

The name No Way Home is of course quite interesting here. Sony and Marvel are expected to introduce the theme of the multiverse to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time with the movie No Way Home. The film is expected to star in cinema’s previous Spider-Men, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.
Spider-Man No Way Home is also expected to feature Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. It is said that all these actors we know from old movies and TV series will be seen in the new film with short roles within the theme of multiverse.
The confirmed cast of Spider-Man No Way Home also includes Benedict Cumberbatch, whom we know as Doctor Strange. It was confirmed that the title of the new Doctor Strange movie will also be Multiverse of Madness. Cumberbatch’s role in Spider-Man: No Way Home strengthened the multiverse theory put forward for the film.
Spider-Man: No Way Home, created by Jon Watts, director of Homecoming and Far From Home, will be released in theaters on December 17.
