SS501 celebrates its 15th anniversary since its debut as a K-pop band.

SS501 was a 5 idol band created by the agency DSP Media, the boys debuted on June 8, 2005 with the single ‘Warning’, three months after releasing the track SS501 they obtained their first victory in a music show.

The SS501 group was formed by: Kim Hyun Joong, who was the leader, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun, with the passing of the years they became extremely popular artists in countries like Japan, United States United and Mexico.

SS501 is considered one of the first K-pop groups to export the ‘Wave Hallyu’ phenomenon to the world. The idols gained a lot of recognition for playing the OST ‘Because I’m Stupid’ from the drama Boys Over Flowers, where Kim Hyun Joong brought Yoon Ji Hoo to life.

Although the group no longer promotes together, the friendship between the members is notorious, they always share their meetings or birthday celebrations where they take the opportunity to remember their presentations and the impact their music had on the public.

Triple S is celebrating 15 years since the debut of SS501, on Twitter they created the hashtag # SS501XV to send messages to the members and remember all the triumphs of the legendary K-pop band.
