Star Wars News: INSPIRED BY THE STAR WARS UNIVERSE, EA AND BIOWARE MMORPG WILL RECEIVE A NEW EXPANSION TO CELEBRATE ITS TENTH ANNIVERSARY
The Star Wars universe continues its endless expansion and now it will do so through the acclaimed MMORPG, The Old Republic. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this game, EA and BioWare announced new content.
The expansion will be called Legacy of the Sith, ushering in an exciting time for Star Wars: The Old Republic. This brand new content for the massively multiplayer online RPG will continue to build the dynamic story of the franchise.
Now players will have the opportunity to embark on a military campaign to secure a vital planet for their faction, while revealing the plans of the mighty Sith, Darth Malgus.
Star Wars: The Old Republic was originally released in December 2011 for PC. Back then it didn’t get a good reception, but EA and BioWare gradually improved the experience for gamers.
LEGACY OF THE SITH WILL BE THE START OF A GREAT CELEBRATION FOR STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC
The MMORPG inspired by the Star Wars universe is 10 years old, so Legacy of the Sith will be just the beginning of many other surprises that will be revealed throughout 2022.
The latest expansion will introduce a new feature called Combat Styles, which will expand on the personalized experience of this MMORPG. Thanks to it, users will be able to independently choose a specific class story and combine it with skills from other technologies or force management classes.
It will be in late 2021 when Legacy of the Sith is available for free to all active Star Wars: The Old Republic subscribers. The new adventure to the ends of the galaxy hopes to receive a good acceptance from the players to further explore the history of this game.
