Elon Musk, who continues to draw the lightning with his statements about crypto coins, this time made Russia-focused statements about Tesla’s future production strategies, of which he is the CEO.
Musk, who attended an event held in Moscow, the capital of Russia, via video conference, said, “I think we are very close to being present in Russia, not only that, but also Kazakhstan and neighboring regions, I think that would be great.”
Evaluating the issue of production, Elon Musk said, “Over time, we will have to establish factories in other parts of the world, and at this point, we are potentially evaluating Russia.” Stating that Russia has a lot of talent and energy, Musk argued that there should be more dialogue between the USA and Russia.
Tesla has two factories outside of the USA. One of them is in Shanghai, China, and production continues at this factory. One of them was established in Germany, in an area very close to Berlin, but production has not started there yet. Production in Germany was planned to start in July, but was delayed for 6 months due to various bureaucracy problems.
