New names have joined the cast of House of the Dragon, which will tell the story of Game of Thrones, one of the most popular series of the last 10 years.
One of the most popular TV series in the world, but unfortunately, with the final season released last year, some of the players of the series House of the Dragon, which will take place in the same universe with the Game of Thorens series, which upset the fans, have been revealed.
There have been rumors in the past few weeks and Matt Smith, the 11th Doctor we know from Doctor Who, joined the cast of the series. He will play the character of Prince Daemon Targaryen. Apart from Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, which we most recently watched in Amazon’s Truth Seekers, participated in the series as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Olivia Cooke, who we watched in Ready Player One, as Alicent Hightower.
Paddy Considine, who will play King Viserys Targaryen, is the only name that was previously apparent to appear in the series. We’ve seen him in movies like Dead Man’s Shoes, Hot Fuzz, and Tyrannosaur before.
House of the Dragon will tell about the Targaryen dynasty, as you can see from its name. It will take place 300 years before Game of Thrones and will consist of 10 episodes. The series will be directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who previously directed Game of Thrones and Altered Carbon. The series will be written by Ryan J. Condal. The shooting of the series will begin in the first months of 2021.
