Golden whale Justin Sun paid $460,000
Tron CEO Justin Sun paid 1.6 Bitcoin (BTC) ($460,000) for the “Golden Whale Pass” token, which guarantees lifetime access to all future Bitcoin conferences and gives him access to multiple VIP benefits.
The winner of the auction will donate this NFT to Tron-based flagship digital collectibles ecosystem APENFT:
It’s exciting to see large-scale NFT use cases like the Golden Whale Pass, and I’m excited to be a part of that legacy.
Congratulations to the Bitcoin Conference team and NFT Glee team, I plan to donate this NFT to the APENFT project and look forward to using my right of way well in the future.
With 50,000 attendees, the Bitcoin 2021 conference is considered the largest event in the history of Blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
With this interesting acquisition, Sun emphasizes its commitment to the concept of non-refundable tokens (NFT).
Previously, the Tron Foundation had launched a $30 million fund to acquire the most impressive digital artworks in the segment.
