Bad Boys producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed that a fourth film is currently in the making.
As of 1995, the “Bad Boys” franchise stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett. His latest installment “Bad Boys for Live” was released in January.
Speaking to Collider, Bruckheimer, who served as a producer on all three films, spoke of his experience working on the latest film and what it holds for the future.
“We had an experience in the former, both through the development process with Tom Rothman (who is the president of Sony) and his team, and through the editing process and the filming process,” he explained.
“We put together, with your help, a film that is very satisfying to the public, and we would like to do it again, and I think they would like us to do it again.”
The producer added: “We are currently working on a draft for the fourth installment.”
Details on the plot and casting of the fourth installment of Bad Boys have yet to be revealed.
