Huawei News: It has become clear who will take the market share that Huawei has emptied in the phone market. iPhone sales could hit record levels next year.
Huawei, which had a hard time due to the US sanctions, was hit hard in the phone market. It was said that Huawei, which could not enter the top five in the first quarter of 2021, even in its homeland China, would create a big gap in the phone market. It is unclear who will fill this gap. According to the analysis, Apple will fill this gap with iPhone models.
iPhone shipments will fill Huawei’s void
Famous TF International analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, known for his closeness to Apple, expects large iPhone shipments in 2021 and further growth in 2022. After 195 million phones shipped last year, Kuo estimates Apple will ship 230-240 million (+23%) this year and 250-260 million in 2022. In the second half of this year, Apple will increase its share of the high-end smartphone market thanks to “feature updates and US sanctions on Huawei”.
The famous analyst at TF International said that Apple will ship 88 million devices in the second half of this year. That’s 17.3 percent more than the 75 million iPhones Apple shipped in the second half of 2020. Apple plans to offer the Pro model with variable refresh rates up to 120Hz, Apple’s A15 Bionic chipset, improved cameras with new sensor-shift image stabilization and a reduced burst ProMotion display.
It is said that the new iPhones will be introduced on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, pre-orders will begin on September 17, and the release date will be September 24. Apple, which will appear with four models again this year, will name these models as mini, main, Pro and Pro Max. On the storage side, there will be a new storage option of 1 TB on the Pro and Pro Max models. Of course, the price of this will be $ 1,500 and $ 1,600, respectively.
