One of the biggest events of the Corona virus has been how people changed the way they communicate. While quarantine training was carried out through applications such as Zoom, applications such as WhatsApp and FaceTime were used more intensively for video calls.
Having decided to increase the limit of people in video calls from 4 to 8, WhatsApp will offer the opportunity to watch Netflix videos directly. While these innovations are not yet available to everyone, Messenger Rooms integration has emerged.
WhatsApp Messenger Rooms feature!
Messenger Rooms, which Facebook recently introduced as a competitor to Zoom, allow 50 people to make video calls at the same time. The option to switch to this application was seen in WhatsApp Beta (2.20.139).
In this context, Facebook has added a new one to the steps it takes to download Zoom, which is currently seen as unrivaled. After creating a room in Messenger, it is enough to send the link link to the people you want to join. The most striking point of this feature is that the other party does not have to use Messenger or WhatsApp. In this way, it will be possible to start video calls independently from the platform.
It is still unknown when this feature, which is currently in beta, will be available to all users. What do you think about WhatsApp Messenger Rooms integration?
