A tourist guide for Ghost Tsushima, developed by Sucker Punch, was released this month. A website has created a tourist guide with spots included in the game.
Developed by Sucker Punch for PlayStation 4, Ghost of Tsushima met with players two weeks ago. The game, published on July 17, managed to get full marks from both players and critics.
Ghost of Tsushima, an open world action game, puts its back on true history. The game takes place in an invasion by the Mongols to the island of Tsushima in the 13th century. The developer team is conducting a detailed study on the real topography of the island to reinforce the sense of discovery of the players.
Ghost of Tsushima tourism guide
A website called Nagasaki-Tabinet has prepared a ‘tourist guide’ where you can take a look at some of the points used by the Sucker Punch team in the game. Sony also collaborated with the Tsushima Local Promotion Association to give players a brief history of the real island of Tsushima.
Looking at the photos on the site, it is seen that the developer studio transfers some points quite similarly to their real counterparts. There is also a very fun definition when you go down to the bottom of the page and look at the ‘Activity’ section: “The island of Tsushima, wrapped in virgin nature, offers a true open world experience.”
In addition, there are some ways to witness the areas seen in the game first hand. Japan is a very interesting place for tourists in general. According to the data of the Japan Tourism Agency, 31.9 million foreign tourists visited the country in 2019. With the effect of the game, some of the tourists may want to visit especially the island of Tsushima after the coronavirus outbreak ends.
When you visit the site, you will encounter a real tourism guide prepared not only for the places in the game but also for the island. The site provides information about the history of certain locations, as well as what can be done on the island.
