RDNA2 architecture cards that AMD will position in the middle segment are eagerly awaited. It seems that the RX 6700 XT models will be offered in two different options.
AMD is working on middle segment solutions after announcing the RX 6000 series. The cards, which are expected with the hope of abundant stock, continue to be detailed.
RX 6700 XTs to differentiate with their TGP
According to the latest news, the RX 6700 XT can be offered in 2 different options. Models that will differentiate with TGP difference compared to each other will serve at different frequencies in parallel.
While creating high TGP variant factory-overclocked cards from models that will come with 230 and 189 watt TGPs, cards that will serve at stock speeds are expected to be based on the RX 6700 XT with 189 watts TGP.
The RX 6700 XT options, as such, seem to be video cards to which the power limit specified for the card is also included in addition to the silicon quality.
Finally, although it is not known which TGP model of the RX 6700 XT is considered the benchmark, it is claimed that the model will offer 20-25% improvement over the RX 5700 XT. Finally, the frequencies of the models to be matched with VRAMs that will provide 384 GB / s bandwidth are not yet known.
