MASASHI KISHIMOTO, CREATOR OF NARUTO, CREATES A COLLABORATION OF HIS WORK WITH THAT OF MY HERO ACADEMIA, OF HIS COLLEAGUE KOHEI HORIKOSHI
A great friendship has always existed between Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, and Masashi Kishimoto, the author of Naruto. The former sees the latter as his mentor, in a way.
All because Kishimoto influenced the work of his colleague. There are elements between the drawing style of the two that can be detected, and responsible for the adventures of the young Uzumaki has advised a lot that of the rookie hero Deku.
NARUTO AND MY HERO ACADEMIA REUNITED IN ONE ILLUSTRATION
It is for the same reason that it is not surprising that a new collaboration between both creatives has recently taken place. That was in Jump GIGA 2021 WINTER magazine, which came out a few days ago in Japan.
In this one appears a design created by Masashi Kishimoto, which mixes the characters that he created together with those of Horikoshi. There you can see the ninja Naruto Uzumaki and Shikamaru Nara next to the heroes Izuku Midoriya and Fumikage Tokoyami.
In the case of the latter, he has activated his Quirk, Dark Shadow. This takes the form of an entity with the appearance and consistency of a shadow. It is a means of defense and attack, which can also grow. It is more powerful the darker it is around it.
The problem is that in total darkness he loses his mind and drags Tokoyami with him. On the other hand, when the environment is too bright, he cannot act.
TWO CHARACTERS FROM EACH SERIES WERE INCLUDED
The design created by Masashi Kishimoto is very sketchy. We say it because the strokes made are appreciated, only in this case he used color and was not limited only to pencil.
If these four characters joined forces in a crossover they would be very difficult to beat. Each one of them not only stands out for their powers and abilities, but for planning their fighting strategies very well. All thanks to the fact that they had good teachers.
Currently, young Uzumaki has grown up, giving his place to his son Boruto, while Shikamaru has Shikadai. This is in contrast to Midoriya and Tokoyami, who are too young to think about children.
Unlike Naruto, My Hero Academia has not had any timeskips. It doesn’t seem like Kohei Horikoshi is planning something like that, especially since he’s already started talking about the end of the manga.
