In this article, we looked at the local tokens of the most popular central crypto exchanges to discover what token performance against the USD in the first quarter of 2021.
The exchange tokens we used were Binance Coin (BNB), FTX Token (FTT), Huobi Token (HT), LEO Token (LEO) and OKB (OKB).
According to data from CryptoCompare, between January 1, 2021 and March 31, 2021, these five tokens performed as follows:
BNB: 709.18% gain – increased from $ 37.37 to $ 302.07.
FTT: 592.53% gain – increased from $ 5.76 to $ 39.89.
HT: 257.32% gain – increased from $ 4.36 to $ 15.58.
LEO: 46.04% gain – increased from $ 1.39 to $ 2.03.
OKB: 118.02% gain – increased from $ 7.77 to $ 16.94.
BNB “powers the Binance ecosystem and is Binance Chain’s local presence. At the same time, “BNB is also powering Binance Smart Chain, an EVM compatible network.”
As the popularity of the Ethereum ecosystem has led to intense congestion on this network and very high transaction fees that drive many users to faster and cheaper L1 blockchains, it doesn’t come as surprising to see BNB perform so well in 2021.
