Live images of the Redmi K40, which will be one of the first phones to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, have been leaked. The phone is expected to be introduced later this month.

Shortly after Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing announced that Redmi would be one of the first companies to launch smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Vivid images of the Redmi K40, one of the phones that will use the new chipset for the first time, have been leaked.

There will be at least two different versions
For a while, a thought image of the Redmi K40 has been on the web. Although the similar design language is seen when the new leaked image is compared with the other visual, there are some differences. This creates the idea that one of the images may belong to the Redmi K40 and the other to the Redmi K40 Pro.

In the leaked image, the clear design of the device is not clear because it is a phone case, but it is seen that there is a camera in the upper-middle part of the screen. Although the back of the phone appears to have a similar camera design compared to the previous generation, the placement of the cameras in the installation is different.

At the bottom of the Redmi K40, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack at the bottom left, a USB-C port in the middle and a speaker on the right.

The Redmi K40, which is expected to be introduced at the end of this month, is expected to have an LCD screen, 4500 mAh battery and high-speed charging support.
