97-year-old American billionaire investor Charlie Munger hates Bitcoin (BTC) and wants everyone to know this hate.
Munger spoke yesterday at the annual shareholders’ meeting of Berkshire Hathaway, the holding of which 90-year-old Warren Buffett is a lifetime partner.
“Of course I hate the Bitcoin success,” Charlie Munger says. “I should say modestly that I think whole damn development is disgusting and contrary to the interests of civilization, and I’ll leave the criticism to others.”

“Of course, I hate the success of Bitcoin,” said Munger, who served as vice president of Berkshire Hathaway. I do not welcome a currency useful for criminals, ”he said:
I also do not welcome the extra billions of dollars in someone who invented a new financial product from the air.
So, I say with all my humility, I think this whole development is disgusting and contrary to the interests of civilization.
Bitcoin community angry
Munger’s attacks on Bitcoin angered the cryptocurrency community on Twitter. In the midst of a “teasing” attack, Munger was hit in many ways, from supposedly laundering millions of dollars to his cola drinking habits.
according to this, charlie munger drinks 700 calories of coca cola every day. 1 can is 140.
also in the article he says the health criticisms of soda are immature and stupid, referring to claims that soda is connected to obesity https://t.co/kfGYxWYMkt

But Buffett, who previously referred to Bitcoin as “worse than rat poison,” chose not to join Munger’s anti-Bitcoin tyrant. Buffett said:
I will skip this question because there are probably hundreds of thousands of people watching, who are probably Bitcoin investors, and there are probably only two ‘short positions’ in BTC.
Buffett didn’t want to offend anyone’s enthusiasm:
So we have the option of making 400,000 people angry at ourselves or making two people happy – and that’s a stupid equation.
