The highly anticipated day has finally arrived and the OnePlus 9 series has become official. So what are the differences between OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro?

The highly anticipated day has finally arrived. OnePlus, which entered our lives as the flagship killer, appeared with its brand new models 9 and 9 Pro. So what are the differences between OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, which have extremely ambitious features? Let’s take a look together.

OnePlus, which first entered our lives as the flagship killer and aims to offer high hardware at an affordable price, seems to be moving away from this goal in recent years. Because when it was first introduced, their prices, which were at the level of 300 dollars, reached up to 1069 dollars as of today and they did not have much advantage in terms of price against their competitors.

How are the OnePlus 9 Series Features?

First of all, it should be noted from the very beginning that the features of both models are very similar. Because both models have 8 or 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, 4500 mAh battery and most importantly Snapdragon 888 processor. On the other hand, we do not even mention the features common to many high-end models such as the AMOLED display stereo speaker WiFi 6 with 120 Hz refresh rate.

So where is the difference? Let’s say right away. First of all, the 9 Pro model has a 6.7-inch QHD AMOLED LTPO screen, while the other model uses a 6.55-inch 1080p resolution AMOLED screen.

The Pro model, which also differs in charging, supports 65W wired charging and 50W wirelessly. OnePlus 9, on the other hand, supports 65 W in wired, while it supports 15W in wireless charging.

One of the most striking differences is in the materials used. The OnePlus 9 Pro has a combination of metal and glass that makes us realize that it is top-notch, while the other model welcomes us with a plastic material.

The camera of the OnePlus 9 series, which uses the Hasselblad sensor, is different in both models, as you can imagine. Although both models use a 48 Megapixel main sensor, the Pro model uses the Sony IMX789, while the regular model has the IMX689 sensor, which we saw in the OnePlus 8 Pro model last year. On the other hand, the Pro model also has an extra 8 Megapixel telephoto camera lens.

Of course, these are the differences in technical details. We currently do not know what is behind the camera software and sensors developed exclusively with Hasselblad and how much of which model is supported. As a result, we can easily say that both models are extremely assertive.

If you wish, you can review all the technical details of the models below to make the final decision about both models. What do you think is worth that difference? Don’t forget to share it with us.
