Windows 10 21H1 ISO files, announced in the first quarter of 2021, have been made available to Insider users.
If you’ve been waiting to test the Windows 10 21H1 beta since the day it was first announced, your wait is over. Microsoft has released ISOs of Windows 10 Insider Preview 19043 on its Beta channel. But it’s hard to even call it a “preview” of Windows 10 21H1.
The feature update itself is an activation package that combines the build number and highlights some features. Except for the activation pack, Windows 10 21H1 is exactly the same as both the 20H2 and 2004 versions.
It should also be noted that the update basically does not bring any radical change or innovation. Small changes are as follows;
Windows Hello multi-camera support: So you can set a default Hello camera.
Windows Defender Application Protection and Windows Management Instrumentation Group Policy Service improvements.
As for why this is such a small update, Microsoft blames Covid-19 for this. The company said so many people still work from home and don’t want to disrupt their work. Meanwhile, Windows 10X was supposed to migrate to RTM last fall, but it was also delayed this spring.
Finally, if you want to get a clean version of Windows 10 21H1, you can download the ISO from the Microsoft website. In addition, let’s remind that new preview builds (20308 builds) of Windows Server, Windows SDK, Windows WDK and Windows EWDK are also available.
