WILL WE BE VERY FAR FROM THIS NEW PROJECT?

Through its official Twitter account, Bethesda announced that they have a new Indiana Jones game in development that will have an original story. The studio in charge of this project will be MachineGames, the team behind Wolfenstein New Order and will have the collaboration of the newly appointed Lucasfilm Games.

It is worth emphasizing that we are a long way from having any kind of formal gameplay advancement. The only thing we have is a very short teaser in which it is possible to appreciate various artifacts that accompany Indiana Jones such as a typewriter, an old reflex camera, several ancient history books and so on.

Right at the end of the teaser, we see the iconic Indiana Jones hat and the traditional whip that has accompanied him on various adventures. One detail that we must not lose sight of is that Todd Howard will serve as executive producer, so we can anticipate that it will be a large project that we must not lose sight of.

Now it only remains to wait for the information to be revealed little by little because it is seen that this is just a tiny preview of an original story that perhaps has little to do with the movies and brings us something new or different from Indiana Jones.

INDIANA JONES IS JUST THE FIRST NEW PROJECT RELATED TO LUCASFILM GAMES

A detail that we must not lose sight of with this recent Indiana Jones announcement is that Bethesda is the one who will be in charge of the creative and development issues, while the supervision will be by Lucasfilm Games, a company – more or less – recently baptized that he will be involved in all the games that use his properties.

We’ll see what Machinegames can do with Indiana Jones when the first trailer for this game comes out, which could well be adventurous with a bit of action. The question also arises as to whether we will have the image of Harrison Ford, a detail that sounds logical, but could change.
