Following the initial rumors, evidence emerged that a new function is coming to increase the amount of RAM in Xiaomi smartphones. A user named Kacper Skrzypek was able to activate the function in question.
The user under the alias @kacskrz, who tested and translated MIUI, mentioned the “Memory extension” functionality that has not yet been announced in the software. According to the description, this function allows you to use part of the storage unit as RAM. Because a similar feature was implemented in Vivo smartphones.

Developing for MIUI 13
