Xiaomi is working on 67W wireless charging technology for its smartphones.We have previously seen Huawei offer 50W wireless charging technology in Mate 40 series phones.
Following this development, Oppo introduced 65W wireless charging technology, and it earned the title of the highest-speed technology ever. Now Xiaomi is aiming for a new record by exceeding this record. The company plans to introduce 67W wireless charging technology in its two upcoming smartphones. This means that the fastest wireless charging technology belongs to Xiaomi.
XDA member kacskrz discovered a piece of code called “keyguard_wireless_strong_charge_67w” in the MIUI 12.5 Chinese beta. This piece of code was attached to two elements called Star and Mars. XDA-Developers claims that both these items are the codenames for the upcoming Xiaomi devices. The star and Mars are thought to be two variants of the same device. It is also stated that the device, codenamed Yildiz, will have Snapdragon 888 processor support.
In addition to the information it has acquired on charging technology, the website has also reached a logo prepared by Xiaomi. The logo you can see below has a text in the form of “67W MAX” and is used to express the new wireless charging technology.
There are also some claims about which device will be the first to offer 67W wireless charging support. First of all, the device to be considered is the Mi 11 Pro. The future of this smartphone with 67W wireless charging technology is among the predictions. However, Digital Chat Station claims that a high-end Xiaomi phone will receive this support and adds that this device has not been leaked yet.
