ZTE has announced that it will attend the 2021 Mobile World Congress to be held in Shanghai. The head of the mobile division of the Chinese company said they are planning to present second-generation under-screen camera technologies at the show.
There are currently no details about ZTE’s second-generation under-screen camera system. In his post on Weibo, the experienced manager shared a smartphone image with no notches or holes on his screen.
Under-screen Face ID?
The company likely would have compensated for the technology it used in last year’s ZTE Axon 20 5G. Because he was criticized for poor performance. Everything does not end there … There are some improvements in face scanning.
3D structural light technology is also mentioned for the second generation sub-screen camera system that ZTE will bring to the stage in Shanghai. It is not clear what exactly this means. However, there is information that Apple Face ID may be an under-screen version.
