Having more than 10 million subscribers on YouTube, Marques Brownlee posted his technology chat with Microsoft founder and the world’s second-richest man, Bill Gates, on YouTube.
While talking with Gates, who spent a great deal of work and money to prevent outbreaks on the African continent through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this conversation addressed many topics from YouTube to the corona virus, while electric cars did not pass. This was one of the most striking issues.
Bill Gates bought an electric car: Porsche Taycan
Gates, who recently bought his first electric car, was expected to favor Tesla. However, contrary to expectations, Gates used his preference for the Taycan model introduced by Volkswagen Group in September in Volkswagen Group.
When it was announced as a concept in 2015, Taycan has two different models. Taycan, reaching 0 - 100 km speed in about three seconds, has 625 horsepower electric motor and a range of up to 450 km.
Of course, after Gates’ announcement, the eyes were turned to Musk. Musk said that his discussions with Bill Gates on this matter are not very heartwarming. In this context, it became a big wonder what Gates didn’t like / preferred in Tesla.
