The American actress, of Puerto Rican origin and one of the most recognized faces of the television series Glee, disappeared Wednesday afternoon after falling into the water in a lake near Los Angeles, authorities say.
Police sources said the boy, Josey Hollis Dorsey, told officers that her mother had jumped into the water but had not come back up.
Naya Rivera’s life jacket was still in the boat and Josey was asleep when they found him.
