China became the second country after the USA to plant a flag on the Moon.
Five spacecraft to Chang, launched by the Chinese National Space Administration in the past weeks and landed on the lunar surface 4 days ago, planted a Chinese flag on the Moon. Thus, China became the second country to plant a flag on the Moon after the USA.
As you know, about 2 weeks ago, the Chinese National Space Administration launched Chang’s 5 spacecraft to the Moon. The spacecraft, sent to collect soil and rock samples from the lunar surface, also erected a Chinese flag on the moon’s surface.
If China, the second country to plant its flag on the moon, successfully completes this mission and manages to land the Chang 5 spacecraft safely to the world, it will be the first after the USA and Russia.
As you know, only the USA and Russia have managed to bring soil and rock samples from the lunar surface until now. Now, China is preparing to become the third country after the USA and Russia.
Sharing some important details about the mission with the public, the Chinese National Space Administration states that in this part, the spacecraft will collect rock and soil samples from the planet for a total of 14 days.
Later, the spacecraft is expected to return to Earth with the samples collected between December 16-17. It is predicted that these collected samples will eliminate many question marks about the Moon.
