Dutch legend Arjen Robben, who announced his retirement last season, announced that he returned to football with Groningen, where he grew up in his infrastructure.
Speaking for the transfer announced by Groningen, Robben said, “I have also participated in various campaigns for the club to go through the recent crisis. I decided to return to Groningen as a football player. I don’t know if this will work. What I know is my loyalty to the club. It is my dream to play with the Groningen jersey again. ”
Robben and Groningen management will hold an official signature ceremony with a press conference tomorrow.
