For the black American George Floyd, who died of police violence in the USA, the second ceremony was held in his birthplace, North Carolina, after the first funeral in Minneapolis.
Relatives and thousands of people who wanted to commemorate George Floyd gathered in the city of Raeford for the morning funeral.
While long queues were formed in front of the church where the ceremony will be held, protests were not allowed in the area.
George Floyd’s funeral will finally be sent to his hometown Texas. The burial will take place on June 9 in Houston.
