The musician auctioned a guitar to generate funds against the coronavirus

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi raised £ 19,000 at auction to raise funds to support healthcare staff in the UK.

Items up for auction included items from Iommi’s personal collection, including a guitar.

A guitar was sold for £ 11,300, while other items in the collection, including a collectible and signed DVD case, plus a compendium of vinyls were sold for £ 8,000.

All the money raised will go to health personnel in the UK known as the NHS, joining the initiative of other British artists who have supported the institution such as Brian May.
