IN THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS, KHARA PUBLISHED WHAT MAY BE THE LAST ADVANCE OF EVANGELION: 3.0 + 1.0: THRICE UPON A TIME, COMING OUT IN JANUARY

One of the big premieres of next year when it comes to the world of anime is Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time. As such, it is the latest tape in the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy, and is expected by many fans.

Not just from Japan, but from all over the world. So the studio in charge of its development, Khara, decided to give them a ‘gift’ this Christmas, and released a new trailer. In this one you see much of what this film will offer.

EVANGELION: 3.0 + 1.0: THRICE UPON A TIME IS CLOSE TO ITS PREMIERE
One thing the video stands out for is that its main theme song can be heard. This one is called One Last Kiss, which is performed by popular singer Hikaru Utada.

She has long participated in the franchise, and could not be left out of this production. This artist sets this new advance in a fantastic way. You can see several of the characters that will enter the scene in the outcome of this great story.

This new look at Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time lets you appreciate the great work done by Khara, Hideaki Anno’s studio. The film stands out at the level of character design, backgrounds and setting.

But also because of the great animation quality. Not for nothing has it been in production for so many years. If not for the coronavirus, its premiere would be in this same 2020. Unfortunately, it was necessary to delay it to 2021.

THE PREVIOUS FILM WILL ALSO RETURN TO CINEMA IN JAPAN

Its new release date will be January 23, and in the early morning of that day the screenings will begin in theaters of various Japanese cities.

Because the country of the Rising Sun has managed to more successfully contain the advance of the pandemic, fans in that nation will be able to enjoy this premiere. Before it hits theaters in the Far East there will be an IMAX screen display of its predecessor.

We’re talking about Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, which can be seen from January 8-22. Only instead of ‘3.0’ it will have ‘3,333’, to differentiate it from the original. What about the West?

Unfortunately, things don’t seem to be getting better in the movie world. Although vaccination against COVID-19 has already started, it will take months to immunize people in several Western countries. We will have to keep an eye on the announcements.
