The ‘KBS Gayo Daechukje’ also known as ‘KBS Song Festival’ is an annual South Korean music event that airs at the end of each year through KBS, one of the largest television networks in the country.
This aired for the first time in 1965 as an awards show, but KBS interrupted the awards ceremony in 2006 and has since continued as an award-free music festival most years.
This year, despite the restrictive measures by Covid-19 and the difficult situation that South Korea is going through with a serious wave of infections that have reached the highest peak since the pandemic began, the ‘KBS Gayo Daechukje’ decided to take held this December 18.
