Actress Jung Hye Sung will be joining the new historical Kdrama titled ‘Joseon Exorcist’, in which she will play the role of a shaman. This new series will depict a bloody fight between humans to protect people from evil spirits who use desire to cause chaos in Joseon.
The role of the shaman Munhwa, to which the actress will play, is a character who has managed to adapt to life alone after losing her family and from the age of 7 she has shown an incredible gift.
With an incredible plot twist in ‘Joseon Exorcist’ we will see King Taejong face a strange entity that tries to reign over humans. A bloody fight begins when the evil spirit, who has been completely sealed by Taejong, is resurrected in the Joseon land filled with people with weak desires.
A strong male cast featuring Kam Woo Sung, Jang Dong Yoon, Park Sung Hoon, and Kim Dong Jun had previously been confirmed.
The young actress has previously participated in other popular dramas in which she has demonstrated her acting skills such as “Oh My Venus,” “Love in the Moonlight” and “Good Manager.”
