Resident Evil and Monster Hunter Generate Record Revenue for Capcom

Capcom recently shared its reports for the fiscal year that started on April 1, 2020 and ended on March 31, 2021. According to reports, sales in this 12-month period increased by 17% compared to the previous year. The company’s profit, on the other hand, increased by 51.6% compared to the previous year, reaching 34.6 billion yen, or $ 317 million.

With the revenue announced this year, Capcom has announced record revenue for 4 consecutive years. Monster Hunter Rise and Resident Evil 3 Remake are the games that have the biggest share in this year’s revenues. In addition, the next generation version of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry has also contributed to the increase in this revenue.
