Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee Bucks, James Harden of Houston Rockets and LeBron James of Los Angeles Lakers were nominated for the “Most Valuable Player” of the season.

Candidates for the “best of the regular season” in six categories in the American Basketball League (NBA) have been announced.

According to the statement on the NBA ‘s website, three candidates were selected in six categories for the best of the regular season, which was suspended on March 11 due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee Bucks, James Harden of Houston Rockets and LeBron James of Los Angeles Lakers were nominated for the “Most Valuable Player” (MVP) of the season.

The names nominated in other categories are as follows:

Rookie of the Year: Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies), Kendrick Nunn (Miami Heat), Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans)

Defensive Player of the Year: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers), Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz)

Sixth Man of the Year: Montrezl Harrell (Los Angeles Clippers), Dennis Schröder (Oklahoma City Thunder), Lou Williams (Los Angeles Clippers)

Best Developing Player: Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks), Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans)

Head Coach of the Year: Mike Budenholzer (Milwaukee Bucks), Billy Donovan (Oklahoma City Thunder), Nick Nurse (Toronto Raptors).
